Tino Livramento has trained with England Under-21s ahead of the powder-keg clash with Germany at the Euros tomorrow night.

The Newcastle United star has played both games so far at the tournament in Slovakia and has impressed against both Czechia and Slovenia. However, the Croydon-born player ended the 0-0 stalemate against Slovenia in Group B in a state of slight discomfort.

But Livramento's issue appears to have been nothing more than cramp after he was pictured preparing for the vital game against Germany. Coach Lee Carsley's side need a win to finish top of Group B tomorrow night.

Carsley did hint at changes against Germany and said on Sunday: "I think it's important that we freshen the team up. I think we need to take into consideration the age of the players and the amount of games they have played.

"We will make sure that we utilise the squad."

Livramento will be granted an extra holiday period ahead of United's return to pre-season training. But despite being linked with Manchester City, he has expressed his happiness on Tyneside.

The full-back said: "I knew that they [Newcastle] were a big club when I joined. They were already in the Champions League the summer when I arrived.

"So even that was a massive thing for me. To win anything for this club has been a massive achievement, and long may it continue."

Newcastle, knowing how crucial Livramento is ahead of next season, are carefully monitoring the defender's minutes in Slovakia as the youngster and his team-mates battle it out amid intense summer heat.
