Man United to submit second bid for 27 G/A winger very soon

Man United are desperate to sign Premier League winger with 27 goal contributions. They did make a bid to sign him earlier but it was rejected. In addition, he is also wanted by Tottenham Hotspur. But, United are now set to make a second bid.

The star in question here is Bryan Mbeumo of Brentford. He is 25 year old Cameroon winger. In 2024/25 season, Mbeumo played in all 38 games in Premier League. He was superb as he scored 20 goals and picked 7 assists. This has attracted interest from multiple top clubs.

United are the heavily linked club with Bryan Mbeumo. He have agreed personal terms with Cameroon international. Earlier, they made a bid of £45+10 million to sign him. But, Brentford quickly rejected it as they want £60 million.

Amidst this, Tottenham Hotspur joined the race for Mbeumo. They have signed Thomas Frank as new manager. Spurs are now keen to reunite him with Mbeumo. As a result, they have made a £70 million offer to sign the 25 year old.

Man United soon to make second bid for Mbeumo

Despite interest from Spurs and first bid getting rejected, Man United are confident to sign Mbeumo. According to Sky Sports, they will soon make second bid to sign him. Brentford are expected to allow the 25 year old to leave if United submite a bid of £60 million now.

Spurs are still hoping to hijack the transfer. They are highly relying on Thomas Frank. But, it is said that Mbeumo has made United his top priority. He is open to join the Red Devils without European football just like Matheus Cunha.

Once Mbeumo saga is finished, the Red Devils will make striker signing their top priority. They have already lost the race for Liam Delap. In addition, Gyokeres is also said to snub them. Hence, the Red Devils have turned their attention to Hugo Ekitike.
