Paris Saint-Germain dominated Atlético Madrid 4-0 in their FIFA Club World Cup debut, taking an important option on the qualification for the knockout stage of the competition ahead of their second game in the tournament against Brazilian side Botafogo.

Ousmane Dembélé sustained a muscle injury while on international duty with France during the UEFA Nations League finals. Following this injury, the 27-year-old has been training separately and has not resume team training with his teammates and his not expected to be involved in their next game against Botafogo. Meanwhile, Bradley Barcola participated in the last collective training and could return against the Brazilian side on June 22.

Senny Mayulu put in a top performance as he came off the bench and scored the third goal in PSG's Club World Cup debut against Atlético Madrid. The 19-year-old who also scored in the Champions League final had a fantastic 2024-2025 season and made tremendous progress under Luis Enrique.

Now, Mayulu is expected to sign a contract extension with the European Champions, according to RMC Sport.
