**FRISCO, Texas** -- The Cowboys have made a big overhaul to the roster here in Brian Schottenheimer's first season. In total, there are over 30 new players, acquired by either trade, free agency, the draft or undrafted rookies.
Positions as a whole have seen overhauls too, and a big one has been at the backup quarterback spot, with both Cooper Rush and Trey Lance heading elsewhere in free agency last season. The Cowboys answered by adding Joe Milton III via trade and signing Will Grier as the two quarterbacks behind Dak Prescott
