Manchester United will need to focus on player sales if they are to strengthen every area of their first-team squad in the summer transfer window.
United completed their first signing of the summer when Matheus Cunha completed his £62.5 million move from Wolves last week, with talks underway to add Brentford ace Bryan Mbeumo as their second summer signing. Ruben Amorim has also requested the addition of a proven goalscorer to his squad, with Eintracht Frankfurt star Hugo Ekitike the latest player of interest.
There is also a desire to sign a central midfielder, wing-back, and a back-up goalkeeper, but those positions can only be strengthened if they manage to shift some players first. With that in mind, here is a look at an entire lineup of players United could move on before deadline day. The damning fact is there are even more players who could be sold this summer.
