For years, the Baltimore Ravens have been in the hunt for proven veteran wide receivers.
They’ve added some players past their prime, resulting in disappointing seasons.
That’s why some fans haven’t been that excited about DeAndre Hopkins’ arrival.
That’s not the case with the organization, however, which recently provided a first look at the All-Pro in his new threads.

Not so long ago, Hopkins was one of the most reliable pass-catchers in the game.
He has never been a speedster, but he had arguably the best hands in the league, and his excellent route-running and technique made him an unstoppable force.
Of course, at 33 years old, his best years might be behind him.
Last season, he had decent numbers with the Kansas City Chiefs.
He played in 10 games, hauling in 41 receptions for 437 yards and four touchdowns.
Expecting Hopkins to be the same 1,000-yard receiver he was back in the day is wishful thinking, but there’s no reason to believe he can’t be an impactful weapon for Baltimore.
Zay Flowers will continue to handle the bulk of the workload and operate as Lamar Jackson’s preferred target at wide receiver.
But there should be plenty of touches for everybody in the Ravens’ proficient offense, and if they can get a couple of vintage performances from Hopkins, he will be worth the investment.
