Mike Evans Makes Bold Statement About Bucs’ Wide Receivers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers might not have Tom Brady at quarterback anymore, but teams should know better than to sleep on them.

The team has grown used to making the playoffs and dominating the NFC South, and while they haven’t gotten back to the Super Bowl since Brady left, they have a strong roster and should be considered a dark horse to contend again this season.

That’s mostly due to their offense, which one star said could be historic.

“WR Mike Evans says this might be the best receiving room he’s been part of in his 11-year NFL career,” Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team wrote on X.

In addition to Evans, the Buccaneers have Chris Godwin, Emeka Egbuka, Jalen McMillan, Tez Johnson, Sterling Shepard and Trey Palmer ready to catch passes from quarterback Baker Mayfield.

Evans has been one of the most consistent and reliable pass-catchers in the game and will likely be remembered as the greatest wide receiver in Buccaneers history.

Godwin might miss some time this season while he works his way back from a leg injury, but he’s also been a star when he’s on the field.

Even without him, Mayfield has no shortage of options to choose from, and the Bucs should be a fun team to watch this season.
