Manchester United’s striker search remains a pressing concern heading into the 2025-26 season.
Having missed out on Liam Delap to Chelsea, United are continuing to assess proven attacking options with the physicality and goal threat to lead their line.
Fans continue to wait for a striker who can provide competition to the struggling Rasmus Hojlund.

Viktor Gyokeres, Benjamin Sesko and Hugo Ekitike have emerged throughout the year as three key names under consideration.
The trio are known to be seen as ready-made upgrades to help sharpen United’s frontline.
The Red Devils have even ramped up efforts recently in pursuit of Ekitike.
Which means, United are cooling their pursuit of Gyokeres, despite Arsenal pulling out of a deal to sign Sporting CP star.
As a result, attention has also turned to Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic – who is now pushing for a move to Old Trafford.
That is according to Football Transfers, who state United have held direct talks with the Serbian’s representatives after his camp initiated contact.

Vlahovic is said to view United as the perfect next step in his career following a frustrating second half of the season in Turin.
The 25-year-old was pushed down the pecking order after Randal Kolo Muani arrived on loan in January.
Juventus are now prepared to cash in.
With Ruben Amorim eager to add a consistent goalscorer and Vlahovic keen on a Premier League move, this could be one of the more straightforward deals to strike this summer.
Despite recent struggles with strikers from Serie A, United believe Vlahovic’s profile – strong, direct, and clinical – matches the demands of English football.
Apparently available for a bargain price of just £20m, the Serbian could be the man to replace the struggling Hojlund.
