Rasmus Hojlund

When Manchester United splashed out big money to sign Rasmus Hojlund, expectations were sky-high.

The young Dane arrived as a raw but exciting talent, and ideally, he would have been eased into the side behind a more experienced striker.

Instead, he was thrust straight into the spotlight as United’s No.9 – a heavy burden for a young striker.

Whilst Hojlund still has talent, last season was a disaster.

He struggled with the basics, often looking isolated, out of sync, and completely devoid of confidence.

It wasn’t just the goals that dried up – it was the spark that once made him a sought-after prospect.

Now, with United in desperate need of goals and undergoing yet another rebuild, Hojlund’s future is uncertain.

The club has been heavily linked with new strikers including Victor Osimhen, Hugo Ekitike, and Viktor Gyokeres.

With finances tight, selling Hojlund could help raise the funds needed for a top-tier replacement.

But ff that happens, who would be willing to take a chance on reviving the career of a striker whose ceiling once looked so high?

Inter Milan

Inter Milan have stepped up their pursuit of Rasmus Hojlund, with reports that talks have accelerated and that the striker has already given the green light to the move.

Keen to bring in a dynamic forward to complement Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram, Hojlund fits the profile for Inter.

Rather than meeting Manchester United’s asking price of €45 million outright, Inter are exploring a more financially flexible solution.

Discussions are centred around a loan deal with an option – or even obligation to buy.

However, it is likely that United would prefer a straight transfer, enabling them to acquire instant funds for their summer recruitment.

Talks are said to be ongoing between intermediaries based in the UK and Italy, as both clubs look to explore the likelihood of the deal.

If agreed, the deal would offer Hojlund a fresh start at one of Europe’s most stable and successful clubs.

And perhaps a better platform to reignite his career.

Napoli

Napoli have emerged as serious contenders for Rasmus Hojlund, with reports in Italy claiming Manchester United representatives have flown to Naples for talks with club president Aurelio De Laurentiis.

The Serie A champions are long-time admirers of Hojlund, who made his name in Italy at Atalanta before moving to Old Trafford.

A return to Serie A could offer the 22-year-old a more comfortable environment to rediscover his form – one with less pressure than United.

Interestingly, negotiations may not involve a straightforward cash deal.

With United heavily linked with Napoli’s star striker Victor Osimhen, there has been growing speculation about a possible swap deal involving both the forwards.

Such a deal would help United land their ideal No.9.

Whilst giving Napoli a younger forward with high potential and proven Serie A pedigree.

Juventus

Juventus have reportedly contacted Rasmus Hojlund, with the club looking to bring in a new striker ahead of Dusan Vlahovic’s expected exit this summer.

The Serie A giants are long-time admirers of Hojlund and have now made first contact over a potential deal.

With space opening up in their attack, Juventus see the Dane as a natural fit.

Hojlund is young, mobile, and already proven in Italy.

It’s still early stages, but if Hojlund is to leave – Juventus will be firmly in the race.
