(KBTX) - The Atlanta Falcons signed former Texas A&M running back Jashaun Corbin, the team announced on Tuesday.
Corbin recently played for the San Antonio Brahmas and led the entire UFL in rushing yards last season with 514 yards on 97 carries. He also added 138 receiving yards on 18 catches and 252 yards as a kick returner.
Corbin’s previous NFL stops were with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2022, and briefly joined the Carolina Panhters’ practice squad in 2023. He rejoined the Giants, recorded one carry for one yard and three receptions for 12 yards before being placed on injured reserve ahead of teh 2024 season.
The newest addition to the Falcons played for Texas A&M from 2018-19 before transferrring to Florida State to finish out his final two years of college.
As a freshman for the Aggies, Corbin rushed for 346 yards and a touchdown and led the A&M with 422 return yards. He was named to the SEC All-Freshman team. As a sophomore, he started two games before suffering a season-ending injury. He had 103 rushing yards, 12 receiving yards, and two total touchdowns ina win over Texas State.
