Liverpool fans will no doubt be casting a watchful eye on Real Madrid’s opening game of the Club World Cup, with Trent Alexander-Arnold set to make his debut for his new club.
After a long and drawn-out contract saga, Alexander-Arnold’s move to the Bernabeu was finally confirmed last month following Liverpool’s Premier League title triumph. Less than a month on from his final game for the Reds, the right-back could now be set to make his Los Blancos debut today.
Real takes on Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal in its opening game at the Club World Cup in the US, with Alexander-Arnold having been signed early specifically to play in the tournament. Therefore, he’ll need to make a good first impression on his new side.

What time is kick-off?
The game is being played at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, with kick-off at 3 pm local time. That's the same for anyone else on Eastern Time, while it's a 12 pm (noon) kick-off on Pacific Time.
For anyone watching in the UK, kick-off is at 8 pm.
Is the match on TV?
Yes, fans on both sides of the Atlantic will be able to watch all of the action. In the US, the game is being shown live on DAZN, Fox Sports 2, fuboTV and Sling.
UK viewers will be able to watch the game for free on 5 (more commonly known as Channel 5) with coverage getting underway at 7:30pm. The game will also be available for streaming on Channel5.com, as well as DAZN.
Will Trent Alexander-Arnold make his debut?
Given Real Madrid ended up paying $11.4 million to Liverpool in order to release Alexander-Arnold from his contract early, it would be a major surprise if he didn't make his debut for the Spanish giant today.
The right-back has been training with his new teammates ahead of the opener against Al-Hilal, with Real's stars said to have been impressed by what they've seen from the former Red.

Dani Carvajal has also been back in training though after a long lay-off through injury, and Alexander-Arnold has been warned he will face a fight for his place in the side.
Real also has Eder Militao, David Alaba, Eduardo Camavinga, Ferland Mendy and Antonio Rudiger back from injury, giving Xabi Alonso plenty of decisions to make as he prepares to name his first team since taking over from Carlo Ancelotti.
As for Al-Hilal, there will be a few familiar faces on show, with Ruben Neves and Aleksandar Mitrovic among those expected to feature, although Joao Cancelo faces a race against time to prove his fitness.
