Bournemouth are set to hold out for a fee of up to £50million for star centre-back Illia Zabarnyi, sources have told Football Insider.
Football Insider revealed on Tuesday (17 June) that the Cherries are braced to lose Zabarnyi to Paris Saint-Germain.
PSG are extremely keen to land the Ukraine international and talks are advancing as the Champions League winners close in on a full agreement.
Bournemouth may be powerless to avoid losing Zabarnyi but can hold out for a big fee of up to £50million having boosted their bank balance with the sale of Dean Huijsen.
Bournemouth will demand £50m Zabarnyi fee from PSG
Milos Kerkez is also closing in on an exit this summer, with the Hungary international expected to join Premier League winners Liverpool.
Sources say Bournemouth feel banking £50million for Zabarnyi is good business – but the club acknowledge the early-window raid on their squad will leave a big hole.
