Newcastle United will kick off the 2025/26 campaign at Villa Park.

We can reveal that Eddie Howe’s Mags will play at Unai Emery’s Aston Villa over the opening weekend of the new season, scheduled for Saturday 16th August on TNT Sports, with a home clash against Arne Slot’s Liverpool Reds at St James’ Park to follow in our first home game.

After those openers comes a trip to Leeds, Wolves at home, Bournemouth away and another tough home test against Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.

As for Sunderland and derby days, we’ll travel to the Stadium of Light on December 13th (subject to change for TV broadcast) and host the Mackems at St James’ Park on 21st March.

Man Utd away could fall on Boxing Day, if not the 27th December, while our final game of 2025/26 will be a home tie against Graham Potter’s West Ham.

Confirmation will arrive in due course, but it looks like our first six will pose a tough test, with Villa, Liverpool, Bournemouth and Arsenal all to come in our opening six, along with a trip to newly promoted Leeds.
