Celtic could have two West Ham players lining up in the SPL next season following reports from the BBC that they’re chasing more than just Andy Irving.
The Hammers midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Celtic Park since collecting his first England cap as a substitute against Liechtenstein. Irving is believed to be surplus to requirements next season, with new midfielders expected to arrive and West Ham planning to retain Freddie Potts.

However, the report also suggests that Irons loanee Evan Ferguson could also be making the move north of the border. Brighton & Hove Albion prioritised signing West Ham target Charalampos Kostoulas, and now Ferguson, it seems, is surplus to requirements at the Amex Stadium.
The move seems to make sense for the young Irish striker, who endured a miserable loan spell at the London Stadium and whose valuation has slumped drastically. Certainly, Celtic would be paying nowhere near Brighton’s January asking price of £45m, although the south coast club are not interested in another loan deal.
