Arsenal begin the 2025/26 Premier League season with a nightmare six-week run.
The Gunners are looking to finally put an end to three years of successive second place finishes by getting their hands on the Premier League title for the first time in over two decades. Buit they won't have it easy.
While signing a new striker appeared top of Mikel Arteta’s summer transfer plans, the Gunners will have to wrap up their new focal point before the season starts given the tough run they kick off the campaign with.
Arsenal begin the season with a Sunday 4.30pm trip to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United, a place where they were held 1-1 in March.
They then return to the Emirates the following Saturday to host newly-promoted Leeds United in what’s sure to be a mighty test put up by the returning Whites. The Gunners then travel to Anfield to take on champions Liverpool in the third game of the season - the ultimate test against Mohamed Salah and co at a ground where Arsenal haven't won since 2011.

September doesn’t get any easier either as they host Nottingham Forest following the international break before welcoming Manchester City - their bitter rivals over the last three season who have twice denied them British football's top prize.
It’s then the long trip north to Newcastle before a return to the Emirates to host West Ham to kick off October.
Arteta’s side will have to prove their mettle from the get-go of the new season in what could prove to be make or break for their title hopes.
A good run of results and points on the board taken off their expected title rivals would go a long way to setting up an exciting campaign at the Emirates. Meanwhile, failure to pick up early points could pile the pressure on Arteta.
Other dates for the diary for Arsenal fans see them host Tottenham on November 22 before heading to Stamford Bridge to play Chelsea the following week.
The New Year run-in sees Aston Villa head to the Emirates before a trip to Bournemouth either side of New Year’s Day after a Boxing Day clash at home to Brighton.
The reverse fixtures see Liverpool head to North London midweek on January 7. United at home on January 24, a trip to the Europa League winners is on February 21, a week before Chelsea go to the Emirates.
Arsenal’s run-in sees them head to the Etihad to play Manchester City six games from the end before taking on Newcastle, Fulham, West Ham, Burnley and Crystal Palace.
