Liverpool became Premier League champions last season - but who will do it next season? Despite the last Premier League season only ending a few weeks ago, this is the question on everyones lips.
Today the fixtures for all 38 gameweeks have been released, with clubs now knowing who they will face and roughly when. We say 'roughly' as a sizeable portion of the calendar is subject to the TV scheduling. There are three definites in life. Death, taxes and matches in Premier League season being shifted about. The timings for matchweek one have been decided though and there are some eyecatching fixtures.
Reigning champions Liverpool will kick off the new campaign when they host Bournemouth in Friday Night Football on August 15. Manchester City's visit to Wolves headlines the Saturday, while Arsenal's first game comes in a trip to Manchester United. In fact the Gunners have a nightmare start, also facing Liverpool and City within their first five games. There will be no Boxing Day fixtures with that gameweek being played from December 27 instead.
The final day will come on May 24, with all 10 matches that day kicking off at 4pm as the title race, European qualification and relegation are decided.
