Leeds United’s Premier League fixtures have been released this morning, which has further ramped up excitement ahead of next season.
The Whites are back in the top flight after a two-season absence and Elland Road will be packed to see their heroes take on the best teams in the country. The objective this season is clear - just survive.
Supporters will be plotting their schedules around the football calendar now the fixtures have been confirmed. While dates are always subjected to change due to competition clashes, weather or TV broadcasting, here are the key fixtures fans can jot down in the diary.
Opening and final day
United have been picked for TV in their opening game against Everton under lights at Elland Road. The match will be the final fixture of the opening weekend with the Whites set to kick off their campaign on Monday, August 18 at 8pm amid what will be a raucous atmosphere.
The first away day sees a trip to the Emirates to take on Arsenal at 3pm on Saturday, August 23, the first of several visits to London this campaign. The last trip to the capital is the final day meeting at the London Stadium with West Ham at 4pm on May 24.
The final home Premier League game of the season a week earlier on May 17 sees Brighton & Hove Albion come to town, which is due to take place on a Sunday.
Chelsea rivalry
Leeds will get their first hack at Chelsea when they kick off their winter schedule at home to the Blues on Wednesday, December 3 United will not have to wait too long before taking them on at Stamford Bridge with the reverse fixture a little over two months later on February 11.
Longest away day
As the crow flies, the longest away day is the trip to the Vitality Stadium against AFC Bournemouth. That is pencilled in for April 25 .

In terms of average travel time given the road and public transport routes, the away visit to Brighton & Hove Albion might feel like a longer trip. The journey to the AMEX Stadium is scheduled for November 1.
Conversely, the shortest away day - to Burnley and Turf Moor - has the date of October 18 which is a Saturday.
Manchester United in town
Leeds kick off 2026 with a home game against Manchester United on January 3 at 3pm on a Saturday, as things stand. The trip to Old Trafford has been given a 3pm kick-off on April 11 - though given the magnitude of the fixture, both games will likely get moved for TV.
Quiet Christmas
The festive schedule looks a lot lighter this year, with no Boxing Day fixture at the moment. United play a full five days before Christmas Day, a home game with Crystal Palace on December 20 .
The big day falls on a Thursday this year and Leeds are not due to travel to Sunderland until the following Saturday, December 27. Then, their next and final fixture of 2025 sees them travel to champions Liverpool on December 30.
It is worth underlining, though, that these fixtures are very much subject to change, both due to TV but also in the event of adverse weather. Meanwhile, some earlier fixtures could get pushed back to this period due to either Leeds or opponents progressing in the League Cup.
