As Manchester United look ahead to the next season, Ruben Amorim is now fully aware of what he’s preparing for.
The Red Devils are looking to bounce back from last season after recording their worst ever Premier League season.
However, the club’s chief executive officer Omar Berrada hasn’t lost hope of rebuilding the club with Ruben Amorim at the helm.
Berrada has double down on his confidence in Amorim, very much backing Project 150 where the club are aiming to seal a 21st Premier League title by their 150th anniversary in 2028.
Whilst this long-term aim is a great goal to have, Amorim will surely be focused on this season, hoping to use it as a stepping stone to build year on year for a sustainable rise back to the top of world football.

Now, with the 2025/26 fixture list confirmed, Manchester United are set to face Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday 17 August 2025 on the opening day.
Last season The Red Devils got a win in their opening fixture, albeit only just, grabbing a 1-0 win over Fulham.
Joshua Zirkzee came through as the hero of the game, coming on in the 61st minute, grabbing a debut goal in the 87th minute, grabbing three points for United.
Unfortunately for United, their luck ended their, going on to lose 2-1 to Brighton and 3-0 to Liverpool who ultimately went on to win the league.
Now, Ruben Amorim will be hoping to head into the season for a very different outcome, with his first pre-season in charge and having signings like Matheus Cunha coming in for his system.
Whilst United have missed out on European football for next season, and the extensive income that comes with it, the reduced fixtures could work in Amorim’s favour, leading to reduced match fatigue and therefore less risk of injury.
However, all focus will surely be on starting the season as they mean to go on, aiming for opening game win.
