Arsenal travel to Old Trafford on the opening day of the season and also face Liverpool, City, Forest and Newcastle before the end of September.
The Premier League have given us a very tough start with Leeds United at home completing our oppening group of six fixtures.
On paper, the season ends with four winnable matches as fixtures at home to Fulham and Burnley either side of a trip to West Ham join a final day visit to Palace and mean that we don’t leave the capital for a League match in May.
Whether that will matter by then, no one knows, but if we can tie up our new signings in the first 20 days of July and hit the ground running, then you never know. Maybe the long wait could finally be over!
