The dates for the 2025/26 Manchester derbies between United and City have been confirmed following the release of the Premier League fixtures.

Manchester City and Manchester United will go head-to-head as early as the fourth game of the 2025/26 Premier League season.
City will welcome United to the Etihad Stadium immediately after the September international break. The contest is currently scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 13, kick-off 3pm.
However, with only the broadcast selections for the opening weekend of the season being confirmed thus far, the fixture date and kick-off time are almost guaranteed to be changed.
Last season, the first Manchester derby of the season in the league did not take place until mid-December with United staging a late comeback to win 2-1 at the Etihad, courtesy of goals from Bruno Fernandes and Amad. City had been in front at half-time via a Josko Gvardiol header.
The second all-Manchester affair of the campaign will take place at Old Trafford in mid-January with the showdown currently set for Saturday, January 17, kick-off 3pm. Again, that is highly likely to be changed for TV purposes.
United and City last met at Old Trafford in April and served up a forgettable goalless draw. Neither side did enough to deserve all three points in a game that will have already been forgotten by most.
The two sides faced each other three times in total last season, first meeting at Wembley in the Community Shield in August after United won the 2024 FA Cup final and City won the 2023/24 Premier League title.
Despite United taking the lead through Alejandro Garnacho, City fought back to force the game to penalties and won 7-6 on spot-kicks. In 90 minutes, though, United are unbeaten in their last four meetings against their neighbours.

United vs City - Saturday, January 17 - 15:00
