The fixtures are finally out and Everton have now learned the key dates for their 2025/26 Premier League campaign.

David Moyes will now be planning for the pre-season to get underway having discovered who his Everton side will be facing in what order.

Leeds United (A) – 18th August

Everton will be kicking off their 2025/26 campaign with an away trip to Elland Road to face the newly-promoted Leeds United.

The final game of the opening weekend under the lights in Yorkshire on a Monday night, this game has the makings for a huge atmosphere.

Of course, Everton will be keen to take the points off the newly-promoted sides, but a point on the road to Leeds on opening day would not be a horrendous result.

It is a long season and avoiding defeat will be a positive start for the Blues, but Everton did show their quality away from home under Moyes in 2024/25.

Result: Draw

Brighton & Hove Albion (H) – 23rd August

The first game at the Hill Dickinson Stadium will come on the second weekend of the season against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Everyone at Everton will want to mark the opening game with a victory having signed off at Goodison Park with all three points against Southampton.

The Hill Dickinson Stadium will transform Everton’s finances, but the players will also need to do their part on the pitch.

This will be the first time the home fans also get to welcome what they will hope to be a host of new players.

Result: Win

Wolves (A) – 30th August

Back on the road, Moyes will surely have eyes on three points against a Wolves side which is already being tipped to struggle.

If Everton are looking to become a club capable of competing again with the top half of the table, these are the games which they will need to win.

Vitor Pereira has already lost Matheus Cunha and Wolves are battling Everton for Kyle Walker as both sides look to bolster their squad.

The result last season was a 1-1 draw in the early stages of Moyes’ tenure, three points will certainly be eyed by the Toffees.

Result: Win

Aston Villa (H) – 13th September

Following the first international break of the season, Everton return to their new home to face the first of the European-competing sides.

Moyes wants Everton to compete for European qualification, and facing a side like Aston Villa may give him a good idea of where his squad stands.

But it will prove a difficult 90 minutes against the side which finished narrowly outside of the Champions League spots.

It is a game which could go either way, but Everton will want to make a solid start to life at their new home.

Result: Loss

Liverpool (A) – 20th September

The one every Everton fan will have been looking for at 9am, the Merseyside Derby.

Everton will be on the road for the first derby of the season and will be looking for revenge after losing at Anfield last season.

Arne Slot has praised Moyes for the work he has done at Everton and rightfully so.

The meeting between the two sides at Goodison proved a feisty affair and James Tarkowski carried that over into the away trip.

It will obviously be a difficult task given the money Liverpool are spending, but fans will never head into a derby wishing for anything less than a point.

Result: Draw

West Ham (H) – 27th September

West Ham travel to the Hill Dickinson Stadium after a dreadful opening spell under Graham Potter.

Ironically, Potter rejected Everton to join West Ham in a move which is not paying off for the former Chelsea man.

Everton are keen to sign Tomas Soucek and the midfielder could face his former side on Merseyside if a deal is to be sealed.

The Toffees will be eyeing all three points in this game and looking to get back to winning ways after a loss against Villa.

Result: Win

Crystal Palace (H) – 4th October

Back-to-back home games for the Blues will see them welcome the FA Cup winners, Crystal Palace, to the new ground.

Again, this has to be a game which Everton take three points from if they are to close the gap to where they want to be under the Friedkins.

With no new faces signed yet it is difficult to picture how Everton will shape up come August.

A draw would not be a horrendous result against Palace, but Moyes will be eyeing nothing less than three points.

Result: Draw
