**Everton will kick off their first full season under David Moyes on the road.**
Wednesday’s release of the new campaign’s fixtures saw Moyes’ side handed a trip to Leeds on the opening weekend of Monday, August 18 in an 8pm kick-off.
That encounter at Elland Road is set to take place just eight days after they welcome Roma to Hill Dickinson Stadium in a final pre-season outing.
A first competitive outing at their state-of-the-art new home on the banks of the River Mersey will take place seven days later against Brighton on Saturday, August 23.
The season’s first Merseyside derby is scheduled to take place at Anfield on September 20 with the return leg at Hill Dickinson Stadium on April 18.
The festive period sees the Blues host Arsenal on December 20 before back-to-back trips at Burnley and Nottingham Forest on December 27 and 30 respectively.
Moyes’ side will ring in the New Year with a home encounter against Brentford on January 3 before rounding off the campaign on Sunday, May 24 at Tottenham.
All fixtures are subject to change and broadcast rescheduling.
