Chelsea's Premier League fixture schedule for the 2025/26 season has this morning been confirmed and it seems to be a relatively kind start to the campaign for Enzo Maresca and his squad.
While all matches in the top-flight are competitive nowadays, the Blues have a kind start to the campaign. Chelsea will not leave London for until matchday five, with home clashes against Crystal Palace (MD1) and Fulham (MD3), as well as short trips to West Ham United (MD2) and Brentford (MD4).
Manchester United away seems the toughest challenge for the Blues in the opening six matches of the season. Not only do we not know how Ruben Amorim's side will look by the time September 20 comes around, but Chelsea's record at Old Trafford has been dire for years now.
Looking at the fixtures in full, there is one period in the season that sticks out more than most from a Chelsea perspective. Within a nine-game run, Chelsea take on the entirety of last season's top eight (seven of the eight given the Blues finished fourth).

Included in that nine-game run is a trip to Everton for what will be Chelsea's first league clash at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, the brand new venue opening up next season on Merseyside. After the extremely tough run is over, Chelsea then take on Tottenham, who of course finished 17th last season, in what will be a tough challenge regardless because of the rivalry and history between the two sides.
The Spurs clash is the penultimate match of the season, before Chelsea make the lengthy trip to the north east to take on newly-promoted Sunderland. So all in all, an extremely difficult end to the campaign for Maresca and his men.
