A new goalkeeper could come in at Man United this summer but it will not be Tom Heaton who makes way.

Tom Heaton has agreed a new one-year contract with Manchester United.
United confirmed last week that Heaton, 39, was in discussions about a renewal and the goalkeeper is expected to sign his new deal this week.
Academy graduate Heaton rejoined United in 2021 under the assumption he would be the number two to Dean Henderson, whom then-manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had planned to install as the first-choice 'keeper.
However, Henderson contracted Covid-19 in pre-season and was laid low for two months, which allowed David de Gea to continue in goal. After Henderson recovered, he was second choice to De Gea with Heaton third in the pecking order.
Heaton, who permanently left United for Cardiff City in 2010, made his debut against Young Boys in the Champions League group stage in December 2021 and he started twice under Erik ten Hag against Charlton Athletic and Nottingham Forest in the League Cup.
Andre Onana is expected to stay at United but there is uncertainty over the future of back-up goalie Altay Bayindir. The Turkey international moved to United from Fenerbahce in September 2023 and has played 11 times.
United scouted goalkeepers in the run up to the summer transfer window and could move for a more competitive 'keeper to challenge Onana.
