Nuno Espirito Santo sweating as Nottingham Forest's toughest run in 2025/26 Premier League…

The excitement has set in this morning with the Premier League announcing who Nottingham Forest will play next season and when.

Forest will be in the UEFA Conference League next season, and now the Premier League fixtures for 2025/26 have been released to the public.

Igor Jesus could play at the City Ground on the first day, with Forest handed a home game against Brentford to start the new season with.

The fan base can now start to put plans in place for the new season, and the hope will be that Nuno Espirito Santo can enhance the squad before the big kick-off.

Nottingham Forest toughest run of 2025/26 confirmed

The Premier League is getting tougher year after year, and this season will not be any different.

There is, however, a really tough stretch of fixtures that will leave Espirito Santo sweating, given the quality of the teams played in that period.

The gruesome run begins with a trip to Newcastle in early October and finishes seven games later with a home game against Brighton in mid-November.

Forest did claim some big points over the top teams last season and given the progression made, the Reds will likely relish such a run.

However, there is a sense that doing what the team managed to do last season again will be tough and it would have been more ideal not to have such a tough run in succession.

Toughest Nottingham Forest stretch:

Newcastle (A) – Oct 4th

Chelsea (H) – Oct 18th

Bournemouth (A) – Oct 25th

Manchester United (H) – 1st Nov

Leeds (H) – 8th Nov

Liverpool (A) – 22nd Nov

Brighton (H) – 29th Nov

Nuno Espirito Santo will be up for the challenge at Forest

This fixture release is arguably less exciting than the other three that Forest have had in the Premier League, with the club far more established now.

Ultimately, Forest play all 19 teams home and away across nine months, with some European games thrown in for good measure.

Espirito Santo will be up for the challenge of ensuring Forest’s form doesn’t fall off a cliff this season, juggling Europe alongside the demands of the Premier League.

Forest will hope to be ready for the big kick-off and the fact that the first game at home is always something to look forward to.
