Forest’s 2025/26 fixtures revealed

Reds face Brentford in season opener

First opening day meeting since 1933

Nottingham Forest’s Premier League fixtures for the 2025/26 campaign have been revealed with Brentford our first opponents of the season at the City Ground.

Forest have only previously faced the Bees once on the opening weekend of a season dating back to 1933 when the sides played out a 1-1 draw at the City Ground.

The Reds will face two of the newly promoted sides in the first six Premier League fixtures of the new season with Forest travelling to Burnley on September 20, before welcoming Sunderland to NG2 seven days later.

Nuno Espírito Santo’s side face Leeds United at the City Ground on November 8. The reverse fixtures see Forest travel to Elland Road on February 7 before welcoming Burnley to Trentside on April 18. The Reds travel to Sunderland on April 25.

Our first trip to Everton ‘s new venue, the Hill Dickinson Stadium is pencilled in for Saturday 6 December before we welcome the Toffees to NG2 later in the month in our final fixture of 2025.

Arsenal represent the first time we will face any of last season’s top four when we travel to the Emirates Stadium on September 3 before we welcome the Gunners to our world-famous home on January 17.

We face the current Premier League champions Liverpool on November 22 at Anfield with the return fixture.

Manchester City visit the City Ground on December 27 before we travel to the Etihad Stadium on March 4.
