Everton’s first Merseyside Derby of 2025/26 comes early as they play away to Liverpool in just their fifth game of the season on September 20. It will of course be the first time in the fixture’s history that the Blues won’t ‘cross Stanley Park’ with Anfield – the ground where they celebrated their first League Championship in 1891, before the Reds even existed, just 800 yards away from Goodison Park at their closest point.
Instead, Everton will of course now be based two miles away on the Mersey waterfront at Hill Dickinson Stadium in Vauxhall. The first Premier League derby at their new 52,888 capacity home is pencilled in for April 18, some six games from the end of the season.
When it comes to clashes against the Blues’ Manchester rivals, it’s a trip to the Etihad Stadium up first on October 18, coming off the back of the second international break of the campaign and David Moyes’ men are heading down the East Lancs Road again the following month as they go to Manchester United, the club he left Everton for in 2013, with a game at Old Trafford on November 22, again in what is their first fixture back after an international break.

The Blues then host the Red Devils in the reverse fixture on February 21 before entertaining Pep Guardiola’s side on May 2 in what is their penultimate home game. England number one Jordan Pickford is in line for a return to the Stadium of Light for the first time in over eight years since his £25million transfer from Sunderland to Everton, on November 1.
Moyes, who was the goalkeeper’s boss at the Black Cats, while also having two spells in charge of West Ham United, goes back to London Stadium on April 25.
