Man United's Premier League fixtures are out for the 2025-26 season, and the pressure already on Ruben Amorim's side is not set to ease up any time soon, judging by their opening to the season.
A dismal 2024-25 campaign saw United finish 15th in the table, an unprecedented low for a side that had once been perennially at the top of the English game. Pressure has mounted on head coach Ruben Amorim, who has struggled to achieve any kind of consistency or performance from his team with a divisive 3-4-2-1 formation.

The Europa League final defeat that brought last season to a demoralising end has only ramped up more pressure on the Portuguese head coach, who would have prayed for a steady start to the season to get his first full campaign in charge going.
However, with three of last season's top five teams waiting in the first five matches for Amorim's United, it looks like his job will come under even more scrutiny in the opening weeks of the coming season.

Man United Premier League fixtures released for 2025/26
Who will Man United play on the opening day?
Man United face Arsenal on the opening day of the 2025-26 season at Old Trafford.
Though Mikel Arteta's side failed to capitalise on Man City's drop off last season, they nonetheless finished second yet again in the league table, and were Champions League semi-finalists.
Since taking over as Arsenal boss, Arteta has lost to United in the league only twice. Last season saw United lose 2-0 at the Emirates, though they drew the return fixture and knocked the Gunners out of the FA Cup.

Nonetheless, bar Liverpool, it's about as rough an opening fixture as Man United could have imagined.
The TV selections for the opening weekend have already been locked in, and the game against Arsenal will take place on Sunday, August 17th at 16:30. The game will be live on Sky Sports.
It doesn't get any easier from there for United, with a trip to Manchester City (13 September) and the visit of Chelsea to Manchester (20 September) within the first five weeks of the season.
