Wolves have today learned their Premier League fixture pattern for the 2025/26 season.
Vitor Pereira will kick off his first full season as head coach at Molineux with a home game against Manchester City.
It will be the first time since the 2018/19 season that Wolves will play at home in their opening game, and that home support is going to be crucial.
Overall, Wolves’ 2025/26 fixture list is better than last season’s – although, that was pretty inevitable.
But Wolves will still be really tested at various points – including in the first five games.
With data ranking Wolves’ first five games as the sixth-most difficult of all Premier League clubs, Molineux News predicts how Pereira’s side will fare.

Manchester City (H) – Prediction: loss
A big response is expected from City after their poor 2024/25 campaign, and they have already brought in some top players.
Just last week, of course, Man City signed Rayan Ait-Nouri from Wolves – and potentially, it could be a winning return to Molineux for the Algerian.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
Wolves did OK at the Etihad Stadium in the last meeting despite losing.
But one suspects City will be absolutely determined to lay down a marker.
Bournemouth (A) – Prediction: draw
Bournemouth had a great season in 2024/25, finishing ninth on 56 points.
Andoni Iraola is a great manager, and has already recorded three wins over Wolves since becoming Cherries boss.
But Bournemouth have lost key defender Dean Huijsen and are losing Milos Kerkez to Liverpool. Antoine Semenyo could also depart amid transfer speculation.
Wolves did win the last meeting between the two teams at the Vitality, so hopefully it will be three points here.
Newcastle United (H) – Prediction: loss
2024/25 was another strong season for Newcastle, who secured Champions League football by finishing fifth.
The reigning Carabao Cup holders are a great side under Eddie Howe and are tough for any side in the Premier League.
Potentially they might have a bit too much for Wolves.
Although if the superb Alexander Isak leaves, then that may greatly improve Wanderers’ chances of getting a result.
Everton (H) – Prediction: draw
Everton are in a much better place these days under David Moyes, and finished 13th in 2024/25 after great impact by the Scot.
Everton took four points off Wolves last season with a win at Goodison Park and a draw at Molineux. But before that, Wolves had gone six unbeaten against the Toffees, winning five.
It’s a big summer in the transfer window for both clubs, so it’ll be interesting to see what kind of teams are on show at Molineux.
But this could be a tight affair and a draw feels likely.

Leeds are back in the Premier League and will be looking to make a big impression.
Survival will be their goal, and Wolves should see this game as a big chance for three points.
Ideally, Wolves would come into this fixture with a win already under their belt.
But this might be Wolves’ first taste of victory in the 2025/26 Premier League season. And if that is to be the case, then hopefully it will spark a bit of a run, with the next five games slightly easier on paper.
