Manchester City will begin their Club World Cup campaign on Wednesday evening with a match against Moroccan side Wydad AC. Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the game, including the kick off time, team news and where to watch.

Reigning Club World Cup champions Man City will begin their hunt for a second successive title against Wydad AC tonight in Philadelphia.
The match will kick off at 5pm BST, or 12pm local time, with the 77,000 capacity Lincoln Financial Field playing host.

City have been placed in group G for this summer’s competition, and will also face Italian giants Juventus as well as United Arab Emirates side Al Ain.
Where to Watch:
UK residents will be able to watch the game live on Channel 5. For Irish fans, the match will be available on DAZN.
Teams news and expected lineups:
Man City have hit the ground running in the transfer market this summer, with Pep Guardiola already sealing deals for Tijjani Reijnders, Rayan Cherki, Rayan Ait-Nouiri and Marcus Betennli.
All four of City’s new acquisitions will be available for the tussle in Philadelphia, and it is expected that Ait-Nouiri and Cherki will both be named in the starting XI.
England co-stars Kyle Walker and Jack Grealish have not travelled Stateside ahead of impending moves away from the Etihad.
Mateo Kovacic suffered an achilles injury at the back end of last season and will be unavailable for the tournament’s duration, although 2024 Ballon d’Or winner Rodri could make his first start since last September after recovering from a serious ACL injury.
