Manchester United are keeping close tabs on Nice midfielder Hicham Boudaoui this summer, journalist Simon Barlow has revealed.
The Red Devils have reportedly identified the 25-year-old Algeria international as a potential reinforcement in midfield and could look to strike a deal with the INEOS-owned French club.
Boudaoui was scouted by United last week during Algeria’s friendly against Sweden and has been tipped to leave Nice this summer amid growing interest from unnamed clubs in England, Germany and Spain.
The 25-year-old is reportedly valued at £20m by Nice and has two years left on his contract, which runs until June 2027.

According to Barlow, United boss Ruben Amorim is ‘desperate’ to sign players with a more physical profile, and a move for Boudaoui would be a step in that direction.
The ‘crazy’ 25-year-old, who joined Nice from Algerian side Paradou AC in 2019, is a powerful and tireless midfielder and is even considered one of the best in his position in Ligue 1.
However, United would only be able to complete a deal for Boudaoui on the final day of the transfer window, after Sir Jim Ratcliffe agreed not to move any players between his two clubs until September 2025.
The British businessman had to satisfy UEFA’s concerns over multi-club ownership, which also prevented United from signing players from Nice last summer, as both clubs were set to compete in the Europa League.
United have announced Matheus Cunha as their first summer signing and are currently prioritising further attacking reinforcements.
The Red Devils remain focused on a deal for Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo, who is understood to be prioritising a summer move to Old Trafford.
