According to reports in Germany, Arsenal have agreed a fee to sign RB Leipzig Benjamin Sesko.

Sesko has been in demand, and the 22-year-old was superb for Leipzig last season, scoring 21 goals for the Bundesliga side. He has a blend of pace, and height which makes him the ideal number nine for Mikel Arteta‘s side.
According to German outlet BILD, negotiations between Arsenal and RB Leipzig have been completed, and that a fee has been agreed between the two sides. Sesko has an £84m release clause, but it is understood that the Gunners are willing to pay as much as £85.5m for the 22-year-old.
Back in May, there were reports saying that Arsenal were more likely to chose Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyokeres, but it now seems that Mikel Arteta and Andrea Berta have decided to choose Sesko rather than Gyokeres.
What has Sesko said about moving to Arsenal?
The Slovenian international is, according to Sky Sports, relaxed about the situation. He is thought to be flattered by Arsenal’s long standing interest in him.
He has hinted in the past about playing in the Premier League amid all the links with Arsenal. Sesko said via SportWitness: “Every player I know watches Premier League games. In the end, we have to see when I’m ready for something.”
Analysis: It is clear that there is a want by Sesko to make a big Premier League move, but he seems in no rush to come to England, so it seems that any deal between Arsenal and RB Leipzig will need to be the right one.
