There will be four international breaks during the 2025-26 Premier League season, with the first of those coming in the first week of September.

There will also be breaks for international action in October and November this year before the final window in March 2026.

The next international fixtures after March is only in June 2026 - after the Premier League season concludes on 24 May next year.

However, many Premier League players will be without some of their key players during the months of December 2025 and January 2026 when the African Cup of Nations takes place.

The 35th edition of the biennial tournament gets under way in Morocco on 21 December, with the final scheduled to be held on 18 January 2026 in Rabat.

As many as 24 African nations will be in action, including Mohamed Salah's Egypt, Bryan Mbeumo's Cameroon, Nicolas Jackson's Senegal and Rayan Ait-Nouri's Algeria.

6-14 October 2025

10-18 November 2025

21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026 (African Cup of Nations)

23-31 March 2026
