Ruben Amorim continues to reshape Manchester United’s squad as he prepares for his first full pre-season at the helm, with big decisions looming over fringe players.
As several names edge closer to the exit door, United’s summer clear-out is expected to accelerate in the coming weeks.
One of the highest-profile question marks remains over Jadon Sancho, whose time at Old Trafford has been clouded by inconsistent performances, off-pitch tension, and an expensive wage packet.

The winger, once heralded as one of Europe’s brightest young stars, has not featured in Amorim’s plans and is now actively looking for a new home.
Reports came out yesterday stating Napoli are interested in Sancho and now according to reports from Sky Sport Italy, the Englishman has now verbally agreed to a move to Serie A giants Napoli, with personal terms between the player and club said to be settled.
However, a deal is far from finalised.
Manchester United are demanding a €25 million (£21.3m) transfer fee to part ways with the 25-year-old, a valuation Napoli reportedly view as too steep.
Sancho still has a year left on his £300,000-per-week contract at Old Trafford, and that wage is proving to be a significant stumbling block for prospective buyers.

Chelsea, who had the England international on loan last season, have already passed on the chance to activate a £25 million permanent clause in his deal and instead paid a £5 million penalty to return him to United.
Napoli aren’t the only club monitoring the situation.
Tottenham, Aston Villa, and Newcastle United have all been linked with the winger, although no formal offers have been submitted.
Sancho’s former club Borussia Dortmund, meanwhile, have publicly distanced themselves from a reunion.
Sporting director Sebastian Kehl said that while contact with the player remains, “we have other priorities at the moment.”
With pre-season approaching quickly and Amorim keen to finalise his squad, United may need to lower their asking price if they hope to offload the unsettled star permanently this summer.
Jadon Sancho is keen on the Napoli switch, but for now, the ball remains firmly in Manchester United’s court.
