Aston Villa and other Premier League clubs have been warned about possible late changes to fixtures next season.
The full top flight schedule for 2025/2026 was released on Wednesday (June 18) with the Villans set to open proceedings at Villa Park against Newcastle United on Saturday, August 16.
Making up the rest of Unai Emery's first five fixtures are a trip to London to face Brentford, a home game against Crystal Palace, plus back-to-back away games at Everton's new Hill Dickinson Stadium and newly-promoted Sunderland.
However, with nine top-flight clubs engaged in European competition next season, the Premier League has warned of the impact on domestic fixtures this will have - including late changes to when games are played.
Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea, Newcastle United and Chelsea will all play in the Champions League, Villa are joined by Crystal Palace in the Europa League, while Nottingham Forest are in the Conference League.
A statement from the Premier League reads: "While the Premier League celebrates this success, it will come with an impact on the scheduling of league matches.
"There is an increased likelihood of Premier League fixtures moving at relatively short notice, after our fixture announcements, should our clubs progress to the knockout rounds of these competitions."
As confirmed on the Aston Villa website, the following Premier League matches are likely to be affected and come with a "please note, all fixtures are subject to change" warning...
Brentford (A) - August 23
Crystal Palace (H) - August 30
Sunderland (A) - September 20
Fulham (H) - September 27
Burnley (H) - October 4
Manchester City (H) - October 25
Bournemouth (H) - November 8
Wolves (H) - November 29
West Ham United (A) - December 13
Manchester United (H) - December 20
Newcastle United (A) - January 24
Brentford (H) - January 31
The club website adds: "Fixtures may be subject to movement from Saturday to Sunday due to the participation of ourselves and/or our opponents in UEFA competitions. Premier League match rounds affected are 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 16, 17, 23, 24."
