Highly rated Man Utd-linked midfielder has ‘up to 10 admirers’ and Red Devils could be ‘dragged into a bidding war’

Manchester United face tough competition from two fellow Premier League sides in the race to sign one sought-after midfield talent, according to stunning reports.

Ruben Amorim could require an additional midfield presence for Manchester United ahead of the start of their 2025-26 Premier League season at Old Trafford.

Christian Eriksen will leave Old Trafford once his contract expires on 30th June and Ruben Amorim’s midfield options were limited last season due to injuries.

Both Kobbie Mainoo and Toby Collyer had periods on the sideline and Manuel Ugarte struggled to solidify his place as a key midfield influence under Amorim last season.

Casemiro saw a resurgence in form in the Europa League last season, but there are still doubts over the United midfielder’s long-term future at Old Trafford.

Bruno Fernandes is capable of playing in the middle of the park, but Amorim’s tactical system at United could see the arrival of another midfielder this summer.
