Touchdowns & takeaways from final spring practice

TOUCHDOWNS

Just like yesterday, 10-time Pro Bowl quarterback Russell Wilson started 7-on-7 drills in the red zone with a touchdown pass to an undrafted rookie wide receiver. On Tuesday, it was Beaux Collins. Today, it was Dalen Cambre. Collins got his turn later, though, with a touchdown from Tommy DeVito.

Rookie Jaxson Dart threw a pair of touchdowns to wide receivers Lil'Jordan Humphrey and Montrell Washington.

Jameis Winston also finished minicamp with a touchdown to tight end Greg Dulcich.

TAKEAWAYS

Dane Belton ended spring football just the way he started it – with an interception. The fourth-year safety, who has led the way in stealing possessions for the turnover chest, made perhaps his best play of the offseason workouts, securing a ball deflected by cornerback Art Green and tapping both feet in bounds on the right sideline just short of the goal line.

Raheem Layne also notched an interception for the safety room earlier in practice.

REMAINING PRACTICES

None. See you at training camp.

"At the end of the spring you sit down with [players] again, all the individual coaches meet with them again and say, OK, this is what we got accomplished," Daboll said before everyone departs the facility. "We said A, B, and C need to improve. Look, A, B, and C all improved, but maybe not as much as C. So this is something we want you to focus on over the next 30 days when you come back ready to go."
