**We will never fully understand the rumours surrounding a PIF-owned team potentially trying to take a current Newcastle United star away from the club.**
While we get that the manager may fancy a player and the rumour comes from there, surely there's a point where the PIF say, "That's a non-starter, they're an important player for Newcastle and they are our flagship club, you're only entitled to their castoffs and you must pay a premium because they have this thing called PSR that is an absolute swine." Or words to that effect.
Recently, it was claimed that Al-Ittihad were looking to take Bruno Guimaraes off our hands this summer, but we shot that one down straight away.
We don't believe there is any way Bruno Guimaraes leaves Newcastle this summer, but if he is going to, he'd be heading to Barcelona or Real Madrid. He has his eye on playing in Spain before he hangs up his boots, and signing for a Saudi club is skipping over that step.

We just love him
Saudi Pro League sides have a keen interest in Joelinton
--------------------------------------------------------
It's not just Bruno that the Saudi Pro League have their eye on, however, as Graeme Bailey has told [TBR Football](https://tbrfootball.com/pif-owned-saudi-pro-league-club-now-want-to-sign-fantastic-newcastle-united-star-this-summer/) that Al-Hilal and other Saudi clubs are keen on Newcastle's other £40 million Brazilian acquisition, Joelinton.
Thankfully, Bailey goes on to clarify that Newcastle have no intention of letting Joelinton leave either, so we don't have to worry about pulling his story to bits.
If we thought Bruno Guimaraes was rooted in Newcastle now, then Joelinton is rooted and encased in concrete. The adoration from the fans and the transformation he's undergone at Newcastle, he's practically baked into the club now; he simply can't leave.
Gun to your head who are you selling?

We can't wait to see Joelinton back in action next season
---------------------------------------------------------
Just the thought of losing Joelinton has us on edge at NUFC Feed. We know it's going to happen someday, but we're simply not ready for that just yet.
Joelinton missed the final nine games of last season through injury, but he's expected to be back for pre-season and ready to go again.
We can't wait to see him clattering through Aston Villa on the opening day of the season.
