Newcastle United star Alexander Isak is consistently being linked with a move away from the club during this summer’s transfer window, with Liverpool the latest club to be credited with an interest.
Isak is arguably Newcastle United’s best player and is coming off another fine season at Premier League level, scoring 23 goals in 34 appearances.
Newcastle value Isak at over £150million but that has not stopped the interest from emerging.
According to GIVEMESPORT, Liverpool are ready to make a British record offer to sign the forward this summer.
On Wednesday, Miguel Delaney provided another update.

Alexander Isak enjoying life at Newcastle United – but won’t rule out leaving
Delaney was speaking on the latest episode of the Libero Podcast.
He revealed that while Isak is enjoying life at Newcastle right now, he wants to be in a position to win major trophies and qualify for the Champions League on a regular basis.
Obviously, Newcastle gave him both of those last season. They won the Carabao Cup and qualified for the Champions League, so would be entering into any talks from a position of strength.

Still, Delaney said: “He’s enjoying his time at Newcastle but he’s getting to that point in his career where he doesn’t want to be part of something that’s growing.
“He wants to win the biggest trophies now and be in the Champions League absolutely every season.
“But, he’s not the sort of player to agitate and look for a move.”
Whether Newcastle United have to sell Alexander Isak to Liverpool this summer
Luckily, Newcastle do not need to sell Isak this summer. They are in a much stronger position financially and do not have to cash in, no matter how big the offer may be.
Chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan has told Newcastle executives they cannot sell Isak this summer.
It’s unclear as to whether or not a British record offer would tempt Newcastle into a sale, however.

From a fans’ perspective, hopefully not. Isak is Newcastle’s record signing and replacing him with a striker anywhere near as good would be difficult, no matter how much money they could potentially get for him.
Isak is set for contract talks at Newcastle this summer. If they can convince him to commit his future long-term, it’s surely the best signing they could possibly make.
