A Manchester United player who is set to leave Old Trafford this summer has now been offered one transfer option ahead of becoming a free agent in July.
Ruben Amorim is expected to have a major clear-out of the Manchester United first-team squad in the summer window ahead of the new season at Old Trafford.
The 40-year-old United manager oversaw a tough period at the Red Devils during the 2024-25 campaign, with the club finishing in 15th place in the Premier League.
United have already signed Matheus Cunha from Wolves after activating his £62.5m release clause and the Red Devils are tipped to make further signings this summer.
Ruben Amorim inherited his United squad from Erik ten Hag after the former Ajax and Red Devils manager was sacked last October amid the 2024-25 season.
The current United head coach arrived at Old Trafford last November from Sporting CP and Amorim must overhaul the struggling United squad for his long-term project.

Christian Eriksen will become a free agent in the summer transfer window and the Man Utd midfielder has attracted interest already
Christian Eriksen’s run at Old Trafford has come to an end and the Manchester United midfielder is one of several players leaving the club this summer.
The 33-year-old Danish midfielder’s contract with United will expire on 30th June and Eriksen will be free to sign with a new club after his spell at Old Trafford.
Eriksen has already attracted transfer interest from several clubs, including former side Ajax, Turkish outfit Galatasaray and Championship team Wrexham.
However, the former Ajax, Inter Milan and Tottenham star has now received interest from his native homeland, specifically from Danish side Middelfart Boldklub.
Eriksen started his career in the youth academy for Middelfart Boldklub and manager Kim Engstrom said it would be a “dream” to see him play for the senior team.
Speaking to Tipsbladet, Kim Engstrom said: “I think that if you ask all the residents of Middelfart, they all have a dream that Christian Eriksen will one day play senior football for Middelfart.
“Now we got Mads Greve home this winter from Vendsyssel, and I know that he is not quite at Eriksen’s level, but it has lifted the town a lot that one of their boys has returned home.
“It has also given a boost in terms of spectators. We have gone from 3-400 in the autumn to having over 1000 in several matches and 1500 most recently.”

Middelfart Boldklub manager Kim Engstrom remains hopeful of Man Utd star Christian Eriksen considering the transfer option
Tipsbladet revealed that Christian Eriksen has kept close ties with the Danish 2nd Division side, including donating 300,000 Norwegian kroner to Middelfart Boldklub.
According to the publication, the Denmark international also donated a synthetic ‘Cruyff Court’ to support Middelfart’s development while he was at Ajax.
Middelfart manager Kim Engstrom insisted that the “dream is always alive” for his current side to sign Eriksen, but he is not sure if it will ever happen for the club.
“It’s clear that it would give a huge boost to Middelfart Municipality. As a coach, it would also be a dream,” he continued.
“I think he plans to play a few more years abroad before returning home, and then the question is whether he’s too old.”
Engstrom added: “He has family in Middelfart, so he is here sometimes, and in the clubhouse, there are shirts with Eriksen and Falk hanging.
“The parent club had its 125th anniversary a month ago, where he also sent a video greeting, so there is contact and a dialogue.
“So far, there has been no dialogue in relation to playing matches, but the dream is always alive for Middelfart.
“Whether it also lives inside Christian’s head, I don’t know.”
Eriksen, who left Premier League side Brentford in 2022 and signed on a free transfer for United, lifted the FA Cup and the League Cup during his spell at United.
