America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders is more often than not about the cheerleaders who are vying to make the team, but after first leader Chandi Dayle's drama one DCC member felt so ostracized that she did the opposite, choosing to quit. Throughout America's Sweethearts season 2, viewers got the chance to see the squad in a whole new light. After a stunning first season, some were concerned about the cheerleaders who would be missing from the mix, but America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders wasted no time introducing veterans and rookies who could capture everyone's attention, including new first leader Chandi.
As a member of the squad six years, Chandi has been one of the most talented performers on the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, but she's always been more of a part of the team than a standout on her own. While Chandi was excited to get into a leadership position, there were some who struggled with her behavior throughout the season, and when she broke a major DCC rule on a girls' trip to the Bahamas, things got dicey. Chandi's influence on the squad throughout America's Sweethearts season 2 was interesting, but what she inspired after her departure was more shocking.

During America's Sweethearts season 2, Chandi was named the first leader of her group and made it clear that while she was honored to be leading the squad, she was also a bit intimidated by the idea of doing so. As a performer, Chandi has always been wonderful, but leadership wasn't something she'd really considered until DCC. During the season, the cheerleaders traveled together for a retreat-style trip to the Bahamas, spending time bonding and resting after a grueling stretch. Chandi, who had opened up about her relationship in earlier moments of America's Sweethearts, was going through a secret breakup.

Deciding to take a leave of absence due to her difficult mental health, Chandi's behavior was reviewed by the DCC coach and staff. Moving into the position, KayDianna quickly took over Chandi's responsibilities and was able to do so easily, making it clear that she'd been prepared for any circumstance throughout the season. KayDianna, who was a fourth year veteran, knew how to seamlessly slip into Chandi's shoes, but faced some quick disappointment.
KayDianna Felt Under Appreciated & Attacked By DCC, So She Quit
She Was Called Out For Making Comments Online
Although KayDianna knew that stepping into Chandi's role could be something expected of her during the season if Chandi needed to step back, she didn't seem to anticipate it would happen. When it did, KayDianna stepped up, but shared on America's Sweethearts that she felt deeply under appreciated for stepping into such a difficult situation with very little prep time. KayDianna took on Chandi's responsibilities without fanfare from DCC, which hurt. When she went on a livestream where DCC fans were asking about where Chandi was, KayDianna didn't reveal what had happened, but she let her hurt take the wheel.
Sharing that she would explain later and seemingly giving viewers something to latch onto about Chandi in a negative way, KayDianna's online activity was reported to the DCC higher ups. She was called out and put under investigation, explaining that the DCC team told her she was being looked into for bullying Chandi online. Though KayDianna didn't feel she did anything wrong, the issues with DCC left her feeling uncomfortable continuing with the team. KayDianna chose to leave the DCC team after the incident, explaining on America's Sweethearts that she no longer felt she could continue after the tough incident.
