Police catch Shedeur Sanders committing felony

Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders has been doing his best to keep a low profile this offseason and let his work on the football field speak for itself after his unprecedented slide to the fifth round in the 2025 NFL draft.

Sanders had been doing a good job of that, giving media-trained responses to reporters since being drafted. However, the young quarterback, who is in the middle of an open competition to be the Browns’ Week One starter, has landed himself in some trouble.

“First on Fox: Browns rookie QB cited for speeding over 100 mph,” reported FOX8News Cleveland on Wednesday.

Sanders was going 101 in a 60 MPH zone, per FOX’s report, and speeding over 30 MPH over the limit is grounds for a felony offense in Ohio.

Fans reacted to the brutal news on social media.

“Sounds like an excellent role model for the kids! Cleveland knows how to pick em!” one fan wrote sarcastically on Twitter.

“h oh .. and so it starts .. entitlement and pampered athlete who doesn’t think the rules apply to them,” one fan added.

“He’s young and young people make mistakes. People are trying to hold him to higher standards than the president of the United States,” another fan added.

Hopefully, this is Sanders’ lone legal incident in what is a long and successful NFL career.
