Liverpool have announced that goalkeeper Vitezslav Jaros has joined Ajax on a season-long loan deal.
There have already been changes in personnel within the goalkeeping department at Anfield since the end of 2024-25.
Caoimhin Kelleher has signed for Brentford after Giorgi Mamardashvili completed his transfer from Valencia to challenge Alisson Becker.
As a result, that left Jaros in the wilderness at a time when he needs regular first-team football to progress his career.
Rather than remain as Arne Slot's third-choice stopper, the Czech Republic international is making the temporary switch to Ajax.

Linking up with a familiar face
Ajax have moved to bring in the 23-year-old soon after Johnny Heitinga left his assistant coach role at Liverpool to become the boss at the Dutch giants.
Jaros will presumably be provided with regular game time in Amsterdam on the back of earning just 101 minutes of senior action in 2024-25.
As well as play 90 minutes of an EFL Cup tie versus Brighton & Hove Albion, Jaros came off the substitutes' bench for the closing stages of a Premier League fixture at Crystal Palace.
He has also accumulated 88 appearances across loan stints at St Patrick's Athletic, Notts County, Stockport County and Sturm Graz.
The exact length of his new Liverpool contract has not been revealed.

Will Heitinga make Jaros Ajax number one?
The current expectation is that Jaros will be regarded as the number one at Ajax.
Matheus will be returning to parent club Braga and Remko Pasveer - who made 24 Eredivisie appearances last season - is now 41 years of age.
