Kieran Trippier has broken his silence about his personal life, confirming that his marriage has ended.

The Newcastle United ace used Instagram to announce the news after being seen cosy with Geordie Shore celeb Chloe Ferry. Trippier, who has donned the England kit 54 times, declared he's moving forward since parting ways with Charlotte, aged 36, the mum of his two kids.

"Myself and Charlotte separated over a year ago. I have not commented previously as it is a private matter and we want to protect our children. We ask the media to respect our privacy in the same way," the defender, who switched to Newcastle from Atlético Madrid in 2022, shared on his socials.

Trippier had recently been spotted living it up with 29 year old Chloe at the swanky Ibiza hotspot Ushuaia. Snaps caught him with his arm around the telly star who's made waves on Geordie Shore since 2015.

Last May, viral clips surfaced of Trippier hoisting Frankie Carmichael, 27, a blonde from a call centre, off her feet in the toon's karaoke joint Cosy Joes. Later on, snaps revealed him ring-free at a train hub, and this May the Toon star was snapped again with another blonde during a Newcastle night out, reports the Mirror.

Trippier's estranged wife, Charlotte, whom he tied the knot with back in 2016 in Cyprus, is said to be seeking "legal advice" regarding their nuptials. Typically shying away from the spotlight, Charlotte has previously proclaimed herself as "a princess who has found her prince."

Their plush £3.8 million family domicile hit the property market among whispers of a split last year.

Chloe, on the other hand, hasn't walked down the aisle before, despite a long-term romance with Sam Gowland, a familiar face from the MTV sensation Geordie Shore. The lovebirds went their separate ways in 2020 following Sam's departure from the show, while Chloe continues to be a fan favourite.

Hailing from Newcastle, she had a stint in Celebrity Big Brother in 2017 but faced eviction just a week in.

The details of how she and Trippier crossed paths remain obscured, with the footballer boasting close to a century of outings for Newcastle after being snapped up in 2022 by Eddie Howe - a figure from his past days at Burnley. After an initial loan period, Trippier became a permanent fixture there in 2012.
