Liverpool are set to smash a club record following their strong performances in the Premier League.
The Merseyside giants were crowned Premier League champions in their first campaign under Arne Slot, who replaced Jurgen Klopp as manager last summer.
The Reds also topped the league phase of the Champions League before being knocked out by eventual winners PSG in the last 16.
Finance expert Stefan Borson exclusively told Football Insider Liverpool’s revenue will have surpassed £700million, while their wage bill will be over £400million for 2024-25.
Liverpool’s wage bill increased from £373million to a record £386million in 2023-24 when they finished third in the Premier League table.
Meanwhile, their turnover improved from £594milliion to a record-breaking £614million across the same period.

Liverpool’s ‘big-money’ strategy revealed
Borson insisted Liverpool’s strategy to pay players “big money” has worked well for the club.
He told Football Insider: “I think they’ll break £700million turnover, which is brilliant.
“But they’ll also break £400million on wages, which is not so brilliant. There has been a sort of long-standing myth that Liverpool scrimp around financially, and they don’t at all.
“They have been fabulously successful over the last few years in recovering the gap between them and Manchester United from the commercial side of things, but likewise, their wage bill has been very high relative to everybody in the Premier League.
“Of course, City have had a higher wage bill for some of those seasons. But Liverpool have been consistently big spenders on wages. That’s been part of their strategy, to pay big money and get success out of those players on the pitch, and it’s worked well.
“But they will be over £400million for this current season, there or thereabouts, especially with bonuses. Then on top of that, we know that there have been contract renewals, which are going to cost money.
“Then on top of that, there’s the new signings that are going to be coming in. Some of those are going to be on very big money.
“With a big Champions League season next season, I think you’ll see the wages probably go up again next season as well. There is no problem with that, and certainly the revenue that they’re delivering supports that kind of wage bill.
“But it’s still impacting the overall profitability of the club because they have very big expenses as well as very big revenue.”

Liverpool turn attention to big-money Rafael Leao deal
Recruitment expert Mick Brown told Football Insider Liverpool scouts have been tracking Rafael Leao following uncertainty surrounding Luis Diaz’s future.
Leao is a target for several Premier League clubs amid growing speculation he could leave AC Milan for “big money” this summer.
Arsenal are also interested in signing Leao and could make a move for him if Gabriel Martinelli leaves the Emirates in the coming weeks.
