The Pittsburgh Steelers’ talks with T.J. Watt seem to be progressing after he held out of mandatory minicamp. Watt sent a message that he wanted to be paid there, but ESPN’s Peter Schrager still thinks the deal gets done before training camp.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter believes Watt will be there for training camp no matter what, even if he is not extended at that point. Contract talks seem to be progresisng well between Watt and the Steelers, but Schefter does not see Watt landing more than Myles Garrett.
