Wirtz flying to Liverpool this evening
Latest from Sky Sports News' Lyall Thomas:
Florian Wirtz is scheduled to arrive on Merseyside this evening to complete his £100m move to Liverpool.
The Bayer Leverkusen playmaker will undergo a medical tomorrow.
Wirtz has been on his post-season holiday while Bayer and Liverpool tie up a deal that could reach a final total of £116.5m.
He is set to sign a five-year contract on a minimum salary of £195,000 per-week, which could become £245,000 with bonuses.
Wirtz only wanted Liverpool during this window, Sky Sports News understands, and not for the money.
Arne Slot’s tactical plan for him is said to be one of the key reasons he has chosen to move to Anfield.

Sheffield United confirm Selles appointment
Sheffield United have confirmed the appointment of Ruben Selles as Chris Wilder's successor.
Selles has signed a three-year deal at the club.
Wilder left the club by mutual consent earlier on Wednesday, with his replacement announced less than an hour later.
Speaking in a statement, which confirmed his arrival, Selles said: “When we first heard about the possibility of coming here, it was a no-brainer for us to join a club with this kind of history and with a mission to move forward and try to be even more competitive.
“This is a very powerful and ambitious project. It was very important at the start of the conversations that everyone is on the same page."
Selles, who was sacked by Hull City despite keeping them in the Championship, had previously been the manager of Reading and was interim boss at Southampton.
The Spanish coach also beat Wilder's Blades 3-0 at Bramall Lane with Hull back in January.
