“May consider” | ExWHUEmployee | West Ham’s Kudus sale update

**West Ham are in the process of trying to sell Mohammed Kudus as clubs circulate, with ExWHUEmployee proving an update.**

It’s been widely expected that the Ghana international would be departing east London during this current summer transfer window, following what was a disappointing season for many reasons during the last campaign.

Graham Potter is eager to build a squad fitting of his vision and a new era at West Ham, with the value of the potential Kudus sale expected to be a huge cog in enabling a significant summer window.

Reporting on The West Ham Way Patreon, club insider ExWHUEmployee has provided an update on the situation, with rivals Spurs understood to have shown an interest in the forward.

“The most sellable asset that we have is Mohammed Kudus,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon. “There is a lot of interest for the player from both abroad and domestically.

“We have already reported the interest from Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Newcastle, well there is a new player in town and that is Spurs. Daniel Levy is said to have made an enquiry into the evaluation of the Ghanaian international.

“The club are reluctant to sell and at the moment the enquiries, that Spurs have made thought to be around £50m, are not near what West Ham would deem an acceptable amount.

“The release clause is thought to be around £85m but West Ham may consider slightly less. The hope is that a bidding war erupts between the interested parties and drives the figure up close to the £85m mark. This would then be accepted with much needed money going into the depleted funds.

“Although to see the player playing for any of those teams would be quite hard to take.

“It is thought that some Saudi clubs would be prepared to pay close to the £85m but Kudus has made it clear he wishes to remain in the Premier League.

“The club are hoping they can drive up the valuations of the Premier League interested teams and then they may consider the offer.”
