Barca ‘agree personal terms’ with Nico Williams

Barcelona have reportedly agreed personal terms with Nico Williams on a six-year contact with the Catalan giants.

The rumor mill is rife with talk about Barcelona and Nico right now, with the latest update coming from Fabrizio Romano.

The word is that personal terms are sealed on a salary worth around €7-8m per season, less that the figures previously quoted in regards to a “pre-agreement.”

Barcelona are now trying to get a deal done with Athletic Club and know Williams has a release clause set at around €62m.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta has spoken about transfers this week and dropped a big hint that the club are hoping to sign Williams.

“We’re on the verge of making an imminent signing. We’ll surely be able to sign another player who excites us a lot,” he told the club’s Senate in a remark that is surely about the Athletic Club star.
