Kyle Walker has emerged as a transfer target for Everton this summer.
After showing plenty of signs of promise ever since the arrival of David Moyes at the turn of the year, Everton need to take full advantage of the summer transfer window.
Carlos Alcaraz remains the only addition they have made so far, though the Toffees have expressed an interest in signing Walker from Manchester City.
The veteran full-back spent the last campaign on loan at AC Milan, who have since opted against signing him, potentially paving the way for him to move to Merseyside.

Darren Bent surprised by Walker update
When it comes to players who have been there and done it all, very few stand out in English football as much as Walker, who has won just about everything there is to win in domestic football.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
However, he has fallen massively out of favour under Pep Guardiola, who will be keen to offload him this summer if a deal can be struck, and Darren Bent is surprised that it seems Everton will be the one to find that agreement.
Via talkSPORT (18 June), Bent said: “He’s someone who brings bundles of experience. It does surprise me that he’s going there because I thought his next move would be abroad. Saudi, maybe, MLS.

“I mean, you’re talking about one of the greatest right-backs, in my opinion, in Premier League history.”
Andy Goldstein then asked whether a move to Tottenham could appeal to Walker, with Bent replying: “If you’re Spurs trying to move forward, that’s not really moving forward, is it?”
As for the Toffees, his addition would be an excellent one as they look to start pushing up the Premier League table, with his experience his biggest asset.

Moyes needs more Premier League experience
Given the absence of Ashley Young next season, the Toffees need to add some more Premier League experience to their squad, while also adding quality.
Walker would tick both of those boxes and would be a huge upgrade in the defensive foundations laid out by Moyes.
If recruitment can be done properly, Everton have every chance of making something out of the new campaign, though a failure to do so could prove costly.
